            I attended a 3-hour online webinar titled “Introduction to Visual Graphic Design” conducted by TESDA on October 14, 2025. The session covered essential topics such as design principles, color theory, typography, layout, and basic design tools used in the industry.           From the webinar, I gained a better understanding of the core elements of design—like line, shape, color, and balance—as well as key principles such as contrast, hierarchy, and alignment. It also highlighted that graphic design is not just about making things look good, but about effectively communicating ideas.           These learnings can be applied in creating school projects, portfolios, and social media content. Today October 14, 2025, I participated in an online course titled “Character Animation in Cinema 4D” by Motion Design School in partnership with Cursa. The 3-hour and 22-minute course covered five key topics: Modeling & Rigging, Animation, Rendering, Morphing, and Subdivision Surface Modeling. Throughout the course, I discovered that Cinema 4D provides a more beginner-friendly and efficient workflow compared to Blender. Its user interface, tools, and settings are intuitive, making the modeling and rigging process smoother and faster. The lecturer’s clear and detailed explanations also motivated me to explore the software even further. This experience reminded me of the importance of expanding my skills beyond one platform. Learning new software helps me grow as an artist and develop flexibility in my creative process. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience that strengthened my knowledge in 3D modeling and animation. I hope more 2D animation courses will be offered...

            Last week, I attended a webinar entitled “Digi-Talino Mindset: Building Digital Habits for Productivity and Responsibility” facilitated by Coach Roji Enriquez. The session focused on how we can become smarter and more responsible digital citizens, especially now that technology is part of almost every aspect of our lives.           One of the biggest lessons I learned is that being digitally skilled is not just about knowing how to use apps, but also about using them wisely. Tools like Google Workspace, MS Office, Canva, Trello, and Slack are all helpful in making tasks more efficient, but they only become powerful when paired with responsibility and discipline.                        On September 3, 2025, I joined the webinar “Introduction to ICT Acquisition: From RA 12009 to Sustainable Asset Management” organized by the University of the Philippines ITDC with Engr. Medel E. Aligan as the speaker. The discussion focused on how ICT procurement is being modernized under RA 12009, covering important topics like PhilGEPS (Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System), lifecycle costing, ICT asset management, cybersecurity, and sustainable ICT strategies.           What stood out to me is that ICT acquisition is not only about purchasing hardware or software. It also requires careful planning, proper security, and long-term sustainability. Agencies are encouraged to align projects with their Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP) and the MITHI framework to make sure systems across government work together efficiently.     ...
